Biographical Information
William (Bill) Tingley is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a former Co-Chairman of the Jefferson County Family Court Advisory Committee. His legal career spans 29 years, 23 of those years practicing in Family Court as well as the Kentucky Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Bill has been called upon to testify before the Kentucky Legislature Senate and House Judiciary Committees on pending family law legislation and has been called upon in civil litigation to testify as an expert in Family Law. His Family Law related awards include: Richard A. Revell Family Law Practitioner of the Year, LBA Outstanding Section Chair of the Year, and the Raise the Bar Award from the KY Chapter of the AAML. Bill has been lecturing on various Family Law topics since 1990. He has published a book called Divorce in Kentucky, and has written multiple articles on Family Law topics. Recently he designed child support calculation programs for both the computer, cell phone app, and a child support worksheet in English & Spanish.
