Biographical Information
Mr. Brennan is a graduate Ursinus College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Politics and a double minor in International Relation and American Studies. During this period he completed two United States Congressional Internships with Congressmen Joe Hoeffel and Tim Holden.
Mr. Brennan is also a graduate of Widener University School of Law, where he was a leadership scholar, served as a member of the Law Review and graduated cum laude. He was the recipient of the 2003 Widener Law Journal Outstanding Student Article Award for his article on Pennsylvania’s redistricting. He also studied at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
Mr. Brennan has served as an attorney for a large defense firm and for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel, representing the Department of Transportation. He was appointed Assistant Solicitor for the City of Bethlehem in 2005 by Mayor John Callahan and in 2008 he was appointed as Solicitor for Stephen J. Barron, Jr., the Northampton County Controller.
Mr. Brennan has also been published in the fields of equine law and redistricting law, has argued several times before Commonwealth Court and has lectured on various topics at the Dickinson School of Law, for the PA Bar Association and in conjunction with the National Bowl Game.
Mr. Brennan volunteers for or has founded a number of charitable, legal, political, religious and community organizations. He is also an Adjunct Professor for Northampton Community College.
He was selected to the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Rising Stars list by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® and has been featured in Philadelphia Magazine. In 2015 and 2016 he also was selected as a Member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. He was also recently appointed as a Hearing Panel Member for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
