Biographical Information

Thomas R. Smith is a managing partner of the law firm and Chair of the Personal Injury department. He concentrates his practice on complex personal injury litigation matters, including product defect cases against major corporations such as Toyota Motor Company, RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and Ford Motor Company, serious injuries from motor vehicle crashes, tractor–trailer, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, premises liability, dram shop cases and dog bites. Additionally, Mr. Smith handles wrongful termination litigation, along with other employment and labor matters, on behalf of both management and aggrieved employees.

Service Activities

The Hamilton Area YMCA honored Mr. Smith as Man of the Year in 2007. He is active in the community, having served on numerous local not for profit boards,  including the Hamilton Area YMCA and The Miracle League of Mercer County, which Boards he chaired for several years, Visitation Homes of New Jersey, Project Freedom and Community Options.  He has also volunteered for the Special Olympics of New Jersey and served as judge of the Mercer County Moot Court Competition.
