Biographical Information

Robin Babbitt is a Partner in the Litigation and Intellectual Property group as well as the Public Affairs Group at Ice Miller LLP. His practice includes gaming, business litigation, governmental affairs, product liability, professional liability, administrative law and commercial litigation.

For more than 35 years, Robin has practiced in administrative law, toxic torts, professional liability defense, products liability and business litigation. His trial experience includes high profile cases involving public officials and professionals such as doctors and lawyers. From 1993 to 2012, he served as outside counsel to the Indiana Horse Racing Commission. In June 2012, Governor Mitch Daniels awarded Robin the Governor’s Distinguished Service Medal in recognition of his personal sacrifice, exceptional leadership and loyal service to the Indiana Horse Racing Commission and the State of Indiana.

Education

Robin earned his juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law in 1980 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville, cum laude, in 1976.
