Rivers J. Morrell III

Mr. Morrell was admitted to the California State Bar in 1974. He has been practicing in the field of personal injury ever since. He is admitted to practice law at all levels in the State of California. He is also admitted to practice law in the 9th Circuit Federal Court.

Mr. Morrell graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1970.  He then attended law school at Golden Gate University Law School, where he graduated in 1974.  He also attended the Sorbonne University in Paris, France.

Mr. Morrell has been practicing in the field of personal injury since 1974. He had dozens of years of experience when he was hired by the defense, or the insurance companies, to defend lawsuits brought by injured parties. In the past dozen or so years Mr. Morrell has been representing Plaintiffs who have been injured due to the neglect of others.

Mr. Morrell has selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer every year since 2007. He has been accepted by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 1989, which is limited to attorneys who have taken to a jury trial a specified number of cases.  Mr. Morrell was selected as an Advocate in this organization which has less than 6000 attorneys in the entire United States.  He is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He was selected. He was selected by the National Trial Lawyers as “Top 100 Civil Trial Attorneys”.  He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate. The American Society of Legal Advocates selected him in the “Top 100 Litigators’. He is a Lifetime Charter Member of “Best Attorneys in America”.  The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys selected him as in the “Top 10” in the State of California. He has the highest rating available from Martindale- Hubbell.
