Biographical Information

Lee J. Eidelberg, recognized by Maryland Super Laywers, The National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board, the University’s Honor Court as a prosecutor, and authored “Wrongful Birth,” University of Baltimore Law Forum, Vol. 2, 1982. A 1979 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, he also holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing management.

Mr. Eidelberg began his legal career in public service as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Baltimore County, Maryland and combined his extensive training at the National College of District Attorneys in Houston, Texas, with countless hours prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases in Maryland’s district, juvenile and circuit courts. After serving as the Unit Chief for Baltimore County’s Repeat Offender, Felony Review and Arson Units, Mr. Eidelberg entered private practice to defend individuals charged with traffic offenses ranging from speeding, driving suspended, revoked or uninsured, to reckless driving and DUI/DWI. He also routinely appears before the state’s Office of Administrative Hearings to defend clients facing license suspension or revocation due to excessive points or refusal to submit to breathalyzer tests. In Maryland’s criminal courts, Mr. Eidelberg is also frequently engaged to defend clients charged with assault, domestic violence, bad checks, shoplifting, theft, CDS and /illegal drug possession and other criminal offenses.

Additionally, Mr. Eidelberg concentrates his private practice protecting the rights and pursuing the claims of personal injury victims, including losses suffered from medical malpractice, in automobile accidents, slips and falls, and other negligent acts or omissions. A long-standing member of the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Medical Malpractice and Automobile Negligence sections of the Maryland Association of Justice, Mr. Eidelberg has successfully obtained both significant jury awards and settlements through effective presentation of cases in trial, mediation and binding arbitration. Injured workers also seek Mr. Eidelberg’s assistance for job-related injuries before Maryland’s Workers’ Compensation Commission, where he prosecutes Claims for contested medical treatment, lost wages, and disability benefits.

An avid sports enthusiast, Mr. Eidelberg also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sports Boosters of Maryland, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of deserving children in Baltimore through fund raising and sports-related activities. He is also a member of the University of Maryland ‘s Colonnade Society, Alumni Association, Terrapin Club.
