Biographical Information

Jeffrey J. Neslund is an experienced trial lawyer from Chicago with a national practice specializing in cases involving   police brutality,  wrongful convictions as well as catastrophic personal injuries caused by negligence.  Mr. Neslund has extensive jury trial experience in both State and Federal Courts.  Mr. Neslund represented the Estate of LaQuan McDonald, a 16-year old shot 16 times by a Chicago Police Officer who was subsequently charged and convicted of 2nd Degree Murder.   Mr. Neslund was featured in the Emmy Award winning documentary “16 Shots” about  the local and national ramifications of the McDonald case.  Mr. Neslund is recognized as an expert in his field and has appeared on local , national and international news outlets to comment on his cases and related civil rights and police reform issues.
