Biographical Information

Attorney Jason Billam grew up in Johnson County and has spent his career representing client’s at the level.  Mr. Billam defends high-profile  clients, including two capital murder cases, State of Kansas v. John E. Robinson and State of Kansas v. Darrell Stallings.  He was also counsel of record in Kansas v. Rachel Perez and several other serious felony matters.

Mr. Billam has lectured at the Lawrence Police Academy on trial issues and remains a trusted pro tem resource by many 10th Judicial District Court Judges.

Mr. Billam is a formidable violent crime attorney and successfully defends clients accused of crimes, assists witnesses to crimes, and represents clients in all aspects of criminal law at the Municipal, State, and Appellate levels.

Mr. Billam is a member and on the Board of the Kansas Criminal Defense Attorneys.
