Biographical Information

Emmanuel is the principal shareholder of Emmanuel Law Firm, LLC, a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm with a principal focus on medical malpractice and other catastrophic injury matters.  He is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Temple University Beasley School of Law, and a Fellow of the Academy of Advocacy. Emmanuel is a summa cum laude graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctor graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Emmanuel is a member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, Board of the Philadelphia Lawyer Magazine, Board of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, and Board of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.  He is a former Chair of the Minority Bar Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and a former member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors.  A frequent legal commentator,  Emmanuel has written about three dozen published law review/journal/newspaper articles on such diverse issues as affirmative action, political corruption, colonial atrocities, informed consent, medical malpractice, prescription drugs liability, punitive damages, Pennsylvania sovereign and governmental tort immunity acts, hospital corporate negligence, and admissibility of scientific evidence, among other subjects. Emmanuel has recovered either by trial or settlement, millions of dollars for victims and families stemming from medical malpractice, products liability, and other catastrophic injury cases.
